My father put all six of his kids through College. I was lucky to have him. His Roman Catholic values and his work ethic were strong influences. Working for the family business throughout my life until 1997 developed responsibility teamwork and reinforced the strong family unit.
My Grade school and high school were spent in the Methacton School District consisting of General Studies and Music Major 1983.
College consisted of Montgomery County Community College; General Studies 1990 . West Chester University ; Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education Teachers Certification 1994. Animal Behavior College; Certified Dog Trainer 2015
After my father passed in 1997 the business was sold and I had not landed a contracted position as a health and physical education teacher, I went into the construction inspection consultant industry. I started on the ground floor , in 2006 as a geo-technical specialist performing concrete test and soil compaction testing for commercial building and local Municipalities. As I progressed in this career I move into the State Inspection Consulting field for bridge and road construction as a consultant for state run contracts until 2018.

The basis of my Training was formed through my health and education classes in college. Formal education in child learning and methods of motivation to make health and physical education exciting. I always say if I can keep 30 kids in the age range of K through 12 actively participating in health and physical education , I definitely have the skills to move a human(s) and their dog(s).
As a kid my parents didn’t think I was responsible enough to have a dog. I saw a Siberian Huskies hooping through the wheat field next to my parents house. I must have been about eight to ten years old. Knowing I couldn’t keep the dog we just played through the afternoon then I walked the husky back in the same direct she came from. I went home. Must be why I rescue huskies. In 1985 I had my chance to finally get some dogs. Three in a row within 6 months. Bandit, Patrick and Khatrue !! To date I've rescued 10 Siberian Huskies in 33 years.
One major influence in the field of dog training is a Norristown Police Officer Named Bob Swan. I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with him observing how he trained his human and K9 officers. What imprinted on me that day ...Officer Swan would always say “Check Your Dog” after every completed behavior. I did not understand this cue he was offered to his Officers till many years later.
My father also imprinted a cue At-Ease into my training by requiring his dog to walk calmly on a leash in the checked position or canine position in a relaxed manner. Once I understood the behavior of At-Ease my training transformed.

The human animal bond was never so pronounced in my life until Trooper found me. Trooper my 7th Siberian husky, who I had since he was a puppy grew to be more than your typical pet in my eyes. 2013 August 6th I was in a nasty auto accident. 15 days in the hospital and 2 months in a rehab hospital.
Having suffered a fractured calcaneus in my right foot , two fractured ulna and bruises all over my body I could not be released from the hospital until I could put weight on my arms but my right foot still need time to heal.
First day home from my rehab. Trooper I feel understood my situation. Trooper kept a close watch over me, we were a team and part of being a team is supporting one another. It was only Trooper and I at this time in my life. He was my support , his patience and love kept my focus on my healing. He was a perfect gentleman when friends took him for his walkies. Trooper cuddled when he sensed my needs. When I was able to start walking again, Trooper did not pull on the leash as I struggled to put one foot in front of the other. Our bond grew became more solid. Through the thick and thin his devotion was nothing I have ever experienced in any of my pack
Trooper's support redefined my understanding of the human animal bond which lead me to get my Certification as a dog trainer, so in the fall of 2014 after rescuing my 9th husky Rouge I signed up for class took a year off to study. Graduated in 2015 and started my business. Trooper: most graciously took in three huskies (Sage, Rogue and Chase) so our pack grew, and he opened his heart to the three new members of our pack and his gentle manners imprinted on the new members.
Now it's 2023, Trooper passed away on June 2017; Sage April 2020 and Rogue July 2023 Chase and I are continuing our progression in our training. Finding new techniques to Educate and Promote the Human Animal Bond through Basic Obedience Training.
